Frequently Asked Questions

Q, WILL MY CHILD BE IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT?

A, The staff at all our camps are fully trained and qualified to UKCC level 1, 2 or 3 and all CRB checked. The staff has the safety and welfare of all the participants as their number one priority. Each camp will have a fully qualified first aider on site at all times. Also a risk assessment will be done at all venues.

Q, WHERE WILL I DROP OFF/PICK UP MY CHILD ?

A, There will be a clear registration point at each venue with a staff member. This will be the same point for pick up.

Q, WILL MY CHILD BE TRAINING WITH CHILDREN OF THE SAME AGE?

A, The groups will be selected by age groups, but children can be moved based on their ability. We aim for every child to find the camps enjoyable but also informative and challenging. The decision for this will rest with the head coach and never put the child in a position they don't feel comfortable with. The coaches will be available for daily feedback and will provide a performance report at the conclusion of the course.

Q, WILL YOU PROVIDE LUNCH FOR MY CHILD ?

A, Please provide your child with a packed lunch, however drinks and snacks will be provided though throughout the day.

Q, WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR FOR THE CAMP ?

A, Every child should wear appropriate clothing, e.g rugby shirt, shorts, tracksuit and also bring both boots and trainers. Wet weather gear is always advisable to bring along.

Q, HOW CAN I CHECK HOW MY CHILD IS GETTING ON AT THE CAMP?

A, If you would like to check how your child is getting on at the camp you can contact the head coach at anytime. Please contact Doug Sculthorpe 07886861487 or Steve Copley 07805201999 who will deal with you queries or pass you on to the correct person.
